For this project, a new 250,000 square foot psychiatric and long term care
hospital was constructed in Camden County, NJ. In addition to seven patient
wings, the new hospital also houses full support facilities. Theses facilities
include a kitchen, laundry area, chapel, gymnasium and administrative areas.
Work on this project included construction of rooms for 490 patient beds as
well as medical preparation, exam and treatment areas. Dental facilities and
nurses' stations were also constructed. Included in the work was the construction
of facilities for the treatment of substance abuse patients, patients with infectious
disease, Alzheimer and mentally ill patients. Construction of recreation and
social services facilities were also included in the work on this project.
